President's Leadership Symposium

Symposium Overview
The President’s Leadership Symposium seeks to honor student leaders for their contributions to the campus community as well as provide advanced leadership training through workshops and keynote speakers. Over 200 student leaders are honored at this event.

The Symposium begins with fun, interactive workshops. Students then gather in the EMU Ballroom for dinner. University President David Frohnmayer will give the opening address at the dinner, followed by our guest keynote.

Participation in the Symposium is determined through a nominations process. Multiple student organizations and university departments have been asked to identify and nominate student leaders. In some cases, the senior ranking student officer in an organization has this responsibility.
